Acceptable Use, Domain Listings and Prohibited Transactions
DRAFT v1.0
GTLD is a platform for legitimate offers to transfer lawful domain-name registration rights. Each participant must provide authentic details, respect other people's rights and use approved communication and payment channels. The following conduct is forbidden:
• Listing a domain you do not lawfully control or have written authority to transfer; listing stolen, hijacked or under-recovery domains; concealing restrictions, registrar transfer lock, active claims or expiry.
• Trademark abuse, cybersquatting, passing off, sale proposals made to extort trademark owners, phishing or falsely claiming affiliation with brands, government, financial institutions or individuals.
• Hiding registry-premium status or materially unusual renewals, misleading creation/expiry dates, inaccuracy about domain-only versus business/website asset scope or selling unavailable rights.
• Fraudulent payments, money-laundering, stolen cards, synthetic identities, account takeovers, prohibited sanctions transactions, third-party payouts designed to conceal beneficiaries, off-platform deals designed to circumvent agreed commission or required checks.
• Spam, malware, credential harvesting, scraping other users' private data, phishing via enquiry forms, abusive messages, false complaints, uploading malicious files, automated attacks, commercial mass messaging without permission.
• Misleading trader/private seller claims; sham pricing or fictitious bids; abusive duplicate accounts; manipulation of ratings (if later added); knowingly false identity or VAT declarations.
• Misuse of sensitive information, identity documents, EPP/auth codes and system tokens. Never post transfer credentials in platform public comments.
GTLD may take proportionate action: request evidence, edit only with owner approval, flag, suspend, block payout via provider where lawfully authorised, delist, terminate accounts, preserve records and report suspected crime where law requires. Restrictions and review reason should be documented, and the affected user should have a reasonable appeal channel unless disclosure would compromise legal or security duties. No contract term purports to displace mandatory freedom, consumer or due-process rights.
No unsolicited collection of other digital assets: Any "Project" tag is informative; unless a separate express agreement has been approved, the only transferred right is the listed domain registration. Sellers remain responsible for websites/data hosted under that domain prior to transfer, including lawful deletion/transfer of any personal data.
